How does SynchroTerm work?

First of all, SynchroTerm scans both texts within the bitext to create a list of source terms and a list of target terms. This first phase already automates the selection of highly repetitive terms within the bitext. Second, SynchroTerm goes even further by applying powerful statistical, probabilistic, syntactical and morphological algorithms to the extraction results to suggest the most appropriate translations for your extracted source terms. Third, thanks to SynchroTerm’s user-friendly interface, you can add to your terminology database, and use its powerful contextual search tools to ensure effective validation. Combined with an interface that provides full control over the terminology creation process, these algorithms provide you with optimal bitext terminology extraction. In addition, the interface offers many functions that allow you to modify, add, remove, import and export terminology records that you have created with SynchroTerm. Finally, SynchroTerm allows you to customize the attributes of your terminology record template at any time.
